Welcome to the Joy of Life Club. When I came up with the hard-to-pronounce, harder-to-spell name for this company - Joie de Vivre - twenty years ago, I had no idea we would grow into California's most prominent independent hotel company. I came up with this name because I was looking for a little "joy of life" in my career after having become a tad disillusioned with the real estate development world. Soon, "creating opportunities to celebrate the joy of life" became our mission statement and the mantra CREATE JOY® became our operating philosophy both inside and outside of work.
Our Joy of Life Club was created to foster a deeper relationship with our most loyal customers. While most loyalty clubs offer some rewards and recognition, we wanted to also offer some unique experiences and a true sense of affiliation. Whether it is our quarterly JoyFest parties or the memorable peak experiences we offer to our most frequent customers, our goal is to create a little more joy in your life because we know you will pass that joy on to someone else. It's our own version of "karmic capitalism."
